About me

English - A scientist (molecular biology and cancer research) and painter amateur living abroad in France. Thanks for joining me here as I share my daily life in Lyon. After living in different corners of Europe, I settled in Lyon in 1997. Since moving to France, I have developed a great appreciation for the ancient Capital of the Gauls and its citizens that have a long cultural, artistic and gastronomic influence on France and the world.
Francais - Chercheur (en biologie moléculaire et cancérologie) et artiste peintre amateur vit à Lyon (France) depuis 1997. Autodidacte et amateur, il est passioné par la peinture et le dessin depuis déja des années. Il adore la peinture à l’huile. Il peint ce qu’il aime, il aime ce qu’il peint. Son style, il ne se pose pas la question. Sa palette est riche et lumineuse. C’est avec nostalgie qu’il peint ses attaches affectives animées de ce monde urban, rural, ou simplement local qui achève de mourir. De très jolis sujets pour les amateurs de la nature et des traditions. L’intention de ce blog est de créer un échange.

Hrvatski - Dobar dan! Znanstvenik istraživaš (molekularna biologija i istrazivanje carcinoma) i slikar amater koji živi u Lyon-u (Francuska) od 1997. Autodidakt i amater, obožava slikanje od malih nogu, iako ozbiljnije počeo slikati relativno kasno (koncem trećeg desetljeća života). Uglavnom slika u ulju, iako eksperimentira s različitim medijima, dok portrete radi uglavnom pastelama. Cilj ovog blog-a je uspostava kontakta s osobama koje vole slikarstvo i/ili znanost.
